Should the Guest account be continued?

Should the Guest (visitor) account be continued?
A Guest can view all messages but cannot post new messages or reply to existing ones.
The advantage of the Guest account is that any former GE person considering joining the GE Old Pals lunch group can get a feel for what it is all about.
The disadvantage is that non GE and people who never worked for GE or one of the associated companies also get to view messages. This means that members need to consider that their message content is 'open to the world'.
I will leave a poll open for 60 days then make a decision based upon the majority view.
